S&B Ichimi Togarashi Chili Pepper - 15 gr. jar

Shichimi togarashi: Also known as Japanese seven spice, this spice blend includes red chili pepper, sansho pepper, hemp seeds and/or poppy seeds, sesame seeds, ginger, citrus peel, and nori.

Togarashi has a unique taste, combining both the salty-savouriness of umami and a sweet, smoky flavour. It is also a bit spicy, thanks to the Japanese pepper it gets its namesake from. It has been described as earthy and tangy, as well as a little bit citrusy.

Unopened togarashi has a shelf life of about 2-3 years if stored properly.
